DGT Alumni Association funds Gallery House for fall 2015 and commits additional resources to refurbish the first floor of 272 Clinton Ave.

Gallery House, a semester-long fellowship program in which Pratt Institute students may receive academic credit towards their degree, or a cash stipend, received sufficient funding to support at least three such fellowships this coming fall semester. At its quarterly membership meeting, held Saturday, July 25, 2015 DGT Alumni Association also committed up to $20,000 in resources to re-furbish the first floor of 272 Clinton Ave., to make the Chapter Room, other spaces on that level, and the patio ready for Gallery House and fall semester events, including a late morning brunch and a mid-afternoon happy hour on September 19, 2015, Pratt Alumni Day and Reunion. The funding of Gallery House is made possible by a $7,500 gift to the DGT Foundation in 2015 from DGT Alumni Association, Inc. This is in addition to an initial gift of $1,500 given in late 2014 when DGT Foundation received its IRS letter of determination as a 501 (c)(3), tax exempt organization. These resources have been supplemented by additional, generous gifts from DGT alumni to the DGT Foundation through the DGT Engraved Brick Campaign just getting underway.
